Gym Week of October 30th

October 31 is Halloween!! Reminder we encourage all students to dress up in costumes. There will be a Halloween parade for the PreK students. There will also be an afternoon bake sale for all to come and buy in the auditorium. There will still be gym on monday for those who are on the schedule. We will still be doing light exercises followed by Halloween themed games. There will be mass on November 1 for All Saints Day. Early Dismissal at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 4 except for U-PREK. Gym Week of October 9-15 2016

Monday October 10 is COLUMBUS DAY....SCHOOL IS CLOSED!! There will not be class on tuesday in the afternoon. I will be attending a workshop and will not be there. All other classes will resume as normal. Progress reports are being sent home this week. Please look at your grades and feel free to ask me any questions. Remember kids are being graded not only on participation, but as well as listening skills, team cooperation, and following direction. Gym Week of October 23-28 2016

All grades will have gym this week. Please remember to be in gym uniform. This weeks' activities will focus on team-building and communication. A few of these games might take a while to get used to for some of the kids, but patience is key! Gym Week of October 16-22

DISMISSAL ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21 WILL BE AT 3:00 pm. UPK Classes will be exploring Fort Tryon Park. Following the unit theme of " My Five Senses", students will be using their senses to safely explore and maneuver through the park. Every grade will have gym this week. Please look at the planbook to check what we will be doing this week. Some of the kids have been asking about the giant ball we play with during gym, the ball popped a week ago. I promise I will ask Mr. Woods for another one, as the kids love to chase the giant ball.
