WEEKLY REMINDERS NWEA MAP TESTING make-up will be held Monday and Tuesday. If you missed any Map Testing during last week, you will be able to make it up this week. School is CLOSED on Thursday May 26, Friday May 27, and Monday May 30. Wednesday May 25 is a dress up day for students. We will be celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation in Church 11AM. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will continue to review Chapter 5 in our textbook. We will be finishing Chapter 5 this week, so please be aware of the work that will be given this week. There will be a number of assignments given this week. Please look towards Google Classroom for more information. Lesson 1 & 2 Vocabulary Quiz will be given on Tuesday May 24. Lesson 3 Vocabulary quiz will be given on Tuesday June 1st. Chapter 5 Exam will be given as a Take-home Exam. Please make sure to do your best to find answers. This is a very easy way to improve grades! WEEKLY REMINDERS Progress reports will be given out Friday May 20th. Students please make sure we are up to date with our school work. NWEA MAP Testing will continue this week. Students will be testing Tuesday and Thursday. Students will be taking the Reading test on Tuesday, and the Math test on Thursday. Wednesday, May 18 will follow a Friday schedule. Students are to come to school in GYM UNIFORM! Gym classes will be held Wednesday. Please make sure to be ready in full gym attire. Friday, May 20th will be an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 12 noon.  Students will be in Mass at 10 AM on Friday for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will continue to work on Chapter 5 in our textbooks. WEEKLY REMINDERS Students in grades 3-8th will be taking the NWEA MAP Test this week. Wednesday, May 11 will follow a regular FRIDAY SCHEDULE! Please make sure students wear full gym uniforms on WEDNESDAY! FRIDAY, May 13 is an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY. Students will be dismissed at 12 noon. Students are to come to school in FULL UNIFORM! WEEKLY REMINDERS National Nurses Day Friday May 6 International Harry Potter Day May 2 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will spend one last day reviewing for the Unit Exam. Monday, we will review Main Ideas and Critical Thinking Questions from chapters 3 and 4. The unit exam will be on Tuesday May 3rd, please make sure to study! We will begin Chapter 5 on Wednesday May 4th. There will be two homework assignments assigned to students on Friday. Please make sure to look at Google Classroom for more information. Digital Technology (Coding) Students have been slowly working with Sphero robots in class. As a beginner activity, students are in the process of learning how to move the Sphero robot using an array of computer programming codes to make an art project.
