 WEEKLY REMINDERS Friday, December 4th National Cookie Day! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Just a few more weeks till Christmas recess. Let's all remember to do our best and to stay vigilant in the fight against corona virus.  4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES We will be covering chapter 4 this week. Students will have their Vocabulary quiz on Wednesday, followed by their chapter 4 exam on Friday. We will be reviewing the chapter all week. There will be no homework this week as we will be reviewing for the exam all week. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES We will be reviewing Chapter 4 this week. Students will have multiple assignments this week as we will be reviewing for the exam. Vocabulary words will be due on Tuesday. Other assignments are related to the workbook. Students will have their Chapter 4 Exam on Monday, December 7. As always, for more information on what we will be covering in class, please look towards the Plan Book.   WEEKLY REMINDERS NOVEMBER 26, 27 - SCHOOL CLOSED THANKSGIVING DAY WEEKEND NOVEMBER 25 - SCHOOL MASS, 9AM 4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will continue to cover chapter 4 from our textbook. Although it is a short week, we will be moving fast to cover the lessons this week. Review Questions from Lesson 2-3 are due this week. Please make sure to follow directions on google classroom for more information. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES We will begin the week by reviewing the Chapter 3 exam from last week. Students should take the time to understand what questions need to be asked in order to feel confident about the next test. I have posted chapter 4 on google classroom and we will begin reading on Tuesday. Please follow all directions on google classroom for more information. Review questions from lessons 1-2 are due this week. As always, if you want more information on what we will be covering in class this week, please look towards the plan book.   WEEKLY REMINDERS WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, MICKEY MOUSE DAY! Come dressed up as Mickey or Minnie and join in on our contest. Best dressed wins! 4TH Grade Social Studies Students will be taking their Chapter test this week. Remember! Students should use powerpoints as well as classwork to study for the exam. We will be reviewing on Monday. We will also be starting Chapter 4 in our textbook. Chapter 4 will be posted on our classroom by the middle of the week.   WEEKLY REMINDERS Students to be dismissed at 11 AM Friday, November 6th New updated Health and Safety Screening Checklist and sign off will be sent home Monday. Please make sure to return back signed on Tuesday. Tuesday, November 3 (Election Day) School is OPEN! November 6 is the last day to turn in any late assignments or extra credit towards students first quarter marks! 4TH Grade Social Studies Project presentations will take place on Monday. Students should be reminded to turn in their project on google classroom. Each student will present their project to the class and answer questions after. We will also be starting Unit 2 from our book. Students will begin to read about European settlements in New York, and how it influenced life in the Americas. As always, pages from the chapter are up on Google classroom in the classwork tab. Homework is also posted on the classwork tab as well.
