Gym & 5th Grade Social Studies

WEEKLY REMINDERS There will be no gym classes on Monday morning. I will be inside a classroom for most of the morning. Tuesday and Wednesday morning will follow a normal schedule. Please remember to wear full uniform.  Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. Mass will begin at 10:30. Classes are on schedule.  Thursday, I will be in a classroom all day, so there will be no gym classes Thursday.  Friday morning we will be hosting the African American History Month Presentations. Set to start at 8:15 am. Please be aware that there will be NO GYM CLASSES Friday morning. As a reminder, participation is key to receiving a good grade in Physical Education. I recommend some of us try a bit harder to maintain those awesome grades! 5th graders we will be finishing presenting our African American projects. I will be choosing the finalists by Tuesday. We will also be taking our Chapter 5 test. After many delays due to scheduling, we will be finishing the chapter.  Following the test, we will be starting Chapt

WEEKLY REMINDERS SCHOOL CLOSED, MONDAY FEBRUARY 17 PRESIDENTS DAY All classes are scheduled for Tuesday, please remember to wear your gym uniform!! Wednesday, we will be hosting the 100th day celebration. Certain activities will be held in the auditorium during the day, so classes will be rescheduled in the morning. Thursday and Friday shall follow a normal schedule. Please remember to wear FULL GYM UNIFORM. 5th graders, Chapter 5 test will be given on Friday. Please remember to read your notes and study guide. Critical Thinking questions will be given in class Tuesday. Vocabulary should be recognized by definition, as well as able to be used in a sentence. WEEKLY REMINDERS SCHOOL CLOSED THURSDAY FEBRUARY 13, & FRIDAY FEBRUARY 14 RE-REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN Short week with lots of changes to the schedule so please be aware of what is going on this week. Classes are on schedule for Monday, all classes will have Gym class. Please remember that gym uniform is required to participate in Gym, so if you do not FULL gym uniform, students will be forced to stay in their class and do classwork. Gym uniform consists of navy blue shirt with school emblem, navy blue pants with school emblem, and sneakers. There will be no classes on Tuesday morning due to Valentine's Day Music Presentations. Gym classes shall resume in the afternoon. Wednesday shall be a normal schedule as well. Weekly Reminders Early Dismissal for students in Pre-K - 8th Grade 12pm, FRIDAY FEBRUARY 7 Monday February 3 we will be having Mass at 9am. Gym Classes for the morning will be rescheduled. As we start a new quarter, we should all remember that certain aspects pertaining to our grades can affect students. Gym uniform is a MUST to participate in class. Gym uniform includes Blue shirt with school emblem, navy pants with school emblem, and sneakers. If you do not have full gym attire you will not be permitted to participate in gym classes. On Wednesday, grades 3, 4, 5 will be going to the Museum of Natural History. If you have gym that day it will be canceled for the day. I will let students in other grades know by Tuesday if they will have an extra gym class on Wednesday.  The rest of the week remains on schedule. 5th grade, Students should be reading and answering lesson review questions for Lessons 1-4.
