4TH & 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES WEEK OF MAY 24, 2021

WEEKLY REMINDERS Monday, May 24 is Early Dismissal for students K- 8th at 12 PM. Tuesday, May 25 is MAP TESTING for students K-8TH (It is also Mr. Woods' Birthday! Be sure to send him lots of good wishes on his special day) Friday, May 28 SCHOOL IS CLOSED for MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. Monday, May 31 SCHOOL IS CLOSED FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. As we continue to move forward on the road to recovery, we remind students that although some restrictions have been lifted in the city, we are still following covid guidelines in our school. We hope students stay positive and work with us to continue to provide a safe environment for everyone attending school. Students are reminded that although the school year is almost over, we should be taking note of what we can do to improve our behavior and work ethic for the following school year. WEEKLY REMINDERS Monday, May 17 Funeral Mass for Mrs. Fundora's Father. Students are to be in FULL uniform. Mass at 11:15 Tuesday, May 18 NWEA MAP TESTING GRADES 3-8TH Thursday, May 20 NWEA MAP TESTING GRADES 3- 8TH Friday, May 21 Mass of the Holy Communion. School Mass begins at 9 AM We are getting closer and closer to the end of the year! I ask that students take control of themselves as we continue to get things back to normal. Students are reminded that Physical Education classes are slowly returning to normal and as we continue to move things along, we ask that students do what they must in order to have a safe environment. Students are also reminded that they may bring gym uniform with them to change in. 4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will take their Chapter 9 exam on Monday. WEEKLY REMINDERS Mental Health Awareness Week....STAY WOKE! Tuesday May 11 - MAP TESTING for students in 3rd-8th Thursday May 13 - Ascension Thursday, Mass at 9 am Friday May 14 - Early Dismissal for all students at 12 pm! The countdown begins....there is about 7 weeks of school left, but this is no time to let the foot off the pedal. There is still ample amount of time for students to catch up on late work, and do whatever we need to do in order to improve grades. Students feel free to talk to me in school to see what we can do to help your grades, or send me an email. It is also Mental Health Awareness Week! This week is especially important due to concerns with the pandemic. Make sure to take care of yourselves, and talk to someone if you have any kind of problems. Your teachers are here to help you!
