Gym & 5th Grade Social Studies
Reminder: EARLY DISMISSAL FOR STUDENTS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4
Greetings to everyone. MAP TESTING is finished for most classes, so gym classes will resume as regularly scheduled. As always, please remember to wear full gym uniform on the day you have gym. Gym schedules are posted on the bulletin board on the office floor, as well as on the blog. For any 6th graders who might be confused about when they have gym classes, classes are scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Friday we will be having Mass for Saint Francis of Assisi, so classes will be rescheduled during the week.
5th Grade Social Studies
Students recently took their first vocabulary quiz last week, and I am pleased to see so many of pass. Please make sure to review words and read passages assigned. The pace of the class will be moving much faster in the coming weeks, so it is imperative we READ, READ, READ. Students please remember to read pages 30-45 in your textbook. We will be going over lesson 3, 4, 5 this week. Students should have vocabulary words IN their homework notebooks. I will be checking for vocab words on Tuesday. Also, we will begin working on Hispanic Heritage Presentations. Students will have to make presentations on their choice of a Hispanic Visionary.
As always, if there is any questions on what we will be doing, please refer to the planbook.
THANK YOU!
