DAILY REMINDERS

Students are reminded that homework will be posted on the blog everyday after class. All homework is to be handed in on google classroom by 11:59 pm on the day it is assigned.

Students are also reminded that anything posted on the classroom should not be opened until the start of class. I have found a number of students answering questions and doing assignments while they should be in another class paying close attention.

I have gotten most students working with Discovery Education, if there is a problem please continue to contact me.

A very important reminder that if you do not attend the class or present yourself late, it will affect your grade, please be aware.

HOMEWORK

Work book page 61

I have posted on google classroom the questions for the workbook page 61. I want you to place the right answers from the workbook onto the google forms page. I want you as well to write the answers inside your actual workbook.
Remember, if you are having trouble finding answers, there is a video I posted underneath the questions for you to review and gather information from.

  WEEKLY REMINDERS START OF THE 4TH QUARTER. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP UP WITH ALL YOUR WORK AND FINISH THE YEAR STRONG! WEDNESDAY APRIL 26 is SECRETARY'S DAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO THANK OUR SECRETARY ALBA FOR ALL HER HARD WORK! ALL CLASSES ARE ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE THIS WEEK. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will begin wrapping up Unit 2 from our textbooks. We will review the idea of different cultures meeting and how cultural differences and competition for land led to conflicts among different groups of people in the Americas. Students will spend Monday and Tuesday reviewing the last two chapters, which will prepare us for the Unit 2 exam on Wednesday. We will then begin to examine Chapter 5: The 13 colonies. We have started to discuss how the first 13 colonies were made and who established these colonies. Two homework assignements will be given this week. Gym & 5th Grade Social Studies

Hello Everyone! I hope all is well while we continue to battle the Covid-19 pandemic. As we continue to live life, lots of changes we will have to work through. As you have heard from our principal, students will continue to have classes remotely on Google Classroom. We understand that there will have to be some adjustments made in order for students to receive their work as well as feedback from teachers. Please bare with us as we continue to provide an education for your child as best as we can. Blogs will be updated daily with materials, as well as homework for students to check on Google Classroom. For the time being, remote classes shall generally follow typical school schedules. 5th Grade Social Studies class will be held Monday-Friday at 11:15 am to 12:00pm.
