WEEKLY REMINDERS

Monday, May 17 Funeral Mass for Mrs. Fundora's Father. Students are to be in FULL uniform. Mass at 11:15

Tuesday, May 18 NWEA MAP TESTING GRADES 3-8TH

Thursday, May 20 NWEA MAP TESTING GRADES 3- 8TH

Friday, May 21 Mass of the Holy Communion. School Mass begins at 9 AM


We are getting closer and closer to the end of the year! I ask that students take control of themselves as we continue to get things back to normal. Students are reminded that Physical Education classes are slowly returning to normal and as we continue to move things along, we ask that students do what they must in order to have a safe environment. Students are also reminded that they may bring gym uniform with them to change in.


4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES

Students will take their Chapter 9 exam on Monday. Exam will consist of vocabulary comprehension, reading comprehension, and critical thinking questions from the chapter. Students were given an excess of information to study in order to prepare for this test. Please make sure you are ready! During the week, we will being to cover Chapter 10 from the book. Chapter 10 will be posted on google classroom on Monday.

4TH GRADE S.S. HOMEWORK

Chapter 10, Lesson 1 Review Questions 1-4 Due Wednesday

Chapter 10, Lesson 2 Review Questions 1-4 Due Next Monday

Chapter 10 Vocabulary words Due Next Monday


5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES

Students will continue to cover Chapter 8 from their book. We will continue to review the last three lessons and begin reviewing for the Vocabulary and Chapter exams. The exams will be given towards the end of next week. Chapter Powerpoint will be up on google classroom by Friday, but we won't be reviewing it until next Monday.

5TH GRADE S.S. HOMEWORK

Chapter 8, Lesson 3 Review Questions Due Wednesday

WEEKLY REMINDERS CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK! SCHOOL CLOSED MONDAY FEB 1, 2021 - SNOW DAY FRIDAY FEB 5, 2021 EARLY DISMISSAL FOR STUDENTS K- 8TH - Parent Teacher Conferences 1pm - 6pm Report cards will be given out this week. I will be posting Parent/Teacher Conference meeting schedules on the blog for parents to sign up for. Please make sure you are signed up if you wish to speak to me on Friday. Students should be aware that this is the start of the 3rd quarter, and we should be focused on improving their grades. There is a number of students falling behind due to missing assignments and the reluctance to participate in class.  I have given students many opportunities to catch up and/or speak to me, but some of you have brushed off my emails. 4TH & 5TH Grade Social Studies Week of April 19, 2021

WEEKLY REMINDERS New York State testing begins Thursday, April 22. Grades 3-8 Report Card Meetings are on Friday, April 23. Students will have EARLY DISMISSAL on Friday 12 PM. Students in both 4TH & 5TH grade have a very busy schedule this upcoming week. Students will be testing most of the week. Please be prepared to focus!  Parents are also reminded to please sign up for parent teacher conferences this upcoming Friday, so that we may speak about students work in class. Sign up will be posted below. Sign Up Genius: 3rd Quarter 4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES We will be reviewing the chapter for the last time before our chapter test. Students are reminded the chapter test is on Tuesday, April 20. Please make sure to study all vocabulary words and review power point summary.
