WEEKLY REMINDERS MONDAY JANUARY 18, SCHOOL CLOSED for MLK JR DAY WEDNESDAY JANUARY 20, MAP TESTING. STUDENTS WILL BE TAKING LANGUAGE ARTS EXAM. REPORT CARD MEETINGS BEGIN NEXT WEEK!! 4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will be reviewing for their Chapter 5 exam this week. We will be reviewing all the review questions and main ideas from the chapter. Power Point discussions will further the understanding of the chapter. Students will also be taking their Chapter 5 Vocabulary Quiz. Quiz will consist of all vocabulary from the chapter. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES   Students will be reviewing for their Chapter 5 exam this week. WEEKLY REMINDERS EARLY DISMISSAL FOR STUDENTS IN K - 8TH 12 NOON, MONDAY JANUARY 11 MAP TESTING FOR STUDENTS BEGIN THIS WEEK.  JANUARY 13 - MATH - 9 AM JANUARY 14 - READING - 9 AM NATIONAL HAT DAY IS ON JANUARY 15. STUDENTS MAY WEAR THEIR FAVORITE HAT. 4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES We will begin to wrap up Chapter 5 this week. We will also be covering a few episodes of liberty kids this week. Students can expect to take their Vocabulary exam on Friday, January 15. A Reminder that Vocabulary words are can be found in the chapter power point. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and beginning to the New Year. As we continue on in this New Year, we are reminded that we are still in the midst of a Pandemic. We must continue to do our best to follow social distancing rules and keep those hand sanitizers handy! I would like to thank everyone, students and parents for their thoughts and gifts this Christmas season. It is as always greatly appreciated.   WEEKLY REMINDERS MONDAY DECEMBER 7, EARLY DISMISSAL 12 PM  FEAST OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION MASS, TUESDAY DECEMBER 8, 9 AM Only two weeks left before Christmas break. Everyone should be doing their best to stay on track with classwork as we approach the new year. Any work that has been missed should be turned in before the week is over as I will be entering grades this week. I will be making phone calls this week to parents to speak about some students' grades and behavior in class. It is imperative that we stay active and not disrupt class during Zoom.  WEEKLY REMINDERS Friday, December 4th National Cookie Day! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Just a few more weeks till Christmas recess. Let's all remember to do our best and to stay vigilant in the fight against corona virus.  4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES We will be covering chapter 4 this week. Students will have their Vocabulary quiz on Wednesday, followed by their chapter 4 exam on Friday. We will be reviewing the chapter all week. There will be no homework this week as we will be reviewing for the exam all week. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES We will be reviewing Chapter 4 this week. Students will have multiple assignments this week as we will be reviewing for the exam. Vocabulary words will be due on Tuesday. Other assignments are related to the workbook. Although it is a short week, we will be moving fast to cover the lessons this week. Review Questions from Lesson 2-3 are due this week. Students should take the time to understand what questions need to be asked in order to feel confident about the next test.
