WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, MICKEY MOUSE DAY! Come dressed up as Mickey or Minnie and join in on our contest. Best dressed wins!

4TH Grade Social Studies

Students will be taking their Chapter test this week. Remember! Students should use powerpoints as well as classwork to study for the exam. We will be reviewing on Monday. We will also be starting Chapter 4 in our textbook. Chapter 4 will be posted on our classroom by the middle of the week.

HOMEWORK

Wednesday: Read Lesson 1, Chapter 4

Thursday: Read Lesson 1, Chapter 4. Review Questions 1-4

Friday: Read Lesson 2, Chapter 4. Review Questions 1-2

5TH Grade Social Studies

Students will be taking their Vocabulary Quiz on Tuesday, followed by their Chapter Test on Thursday. Students should be viewing power points for the chapter, as well as classwork for study guides. We will be reviewing the chapter the entire week to prepare!

HOMEWORK

MONDAY: Chapter Study Guide, Due Tuesday

  WEEKLY REMINDERS START OF THE 4TH QUARTER. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP UP WITH ALL YOUR WORK AND FINISH THE YEAR STRONG! WEDNESDAY APRIL 26 is SECRETARY'S DAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO THANK OUR SECRETARY ALBA FOR ALL HER HARD WORK! ALL CLASSES ARE ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE THIS WEEK. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will begin wrapping up Unit 2 from our textbooks. We will review the idea of different cultures meeting and how cultural differences and competition for land led to conflicts among different groups of people in the Americas. Students will spend Monday and Tuesday reviewing the last two chapters, which will prepare us for the Unit 2 exam on Wednesday. We will then begin to examine Chapter 5: The 13 colonies. We have started to discuss how the first 13 colonies were made and who established these colonies. Two homework assignements will be given this week. Social Studies, Coding, Gym Week of October 11, 2021

WEEKLY REMINDERS October 11, School Closed, Columbus Day October 12, picture envelopes will given to students. Students must return envelopes to teacher for picture to be taken. October 13, National M&M's Day, students will receive M&M's from Mr. Woods. October 15, Early Dismissal for students K-8TH. PRE-K for All Program has regular dismissal. October 22, Progress Reports will be sent out to parents! 5th Grade Social Studies      Students will begin to work on their Hispanic Heritage Month Projects. Students will have to present slideshow about a person we celebrate during Hispanic heritage month.  We will spend three class periods discussing what information to include, how our slideshow should be presented, as well as how to outline information we find to include into our slides.
