Gym & Coding Week of November 4, 2018

Happy November to all!

Report Cards will be distributed on Friday, November 16. Please be aware that many factors contribute to into grades. For example, not having proper gym attire will bring your grade down from an "A" to a "B". If there are any questions about grades I am always open to conversation.

All classes shall remain the same this week. As Always if there any questions on what we will be doing, please refer to the planbook.

WEEKLY REMINDERS REPORT CARD MEETINGS,  APRIL 23rd 1pm - 6pm. Please make sure to sign up for individual meetings using the sign up genius. It will be posted later this week. Welcome back to everyone. I hope everyone enjoyed their time off and is prepared to get back to work. Students will be reviewing the work we last left off in class to refresh our memories. Although this is the start of a new quarter, students should continue to assess their work and figure out what is needed to be done to pass the class this upcoming quarter. Gym Week of March 18, 2018

Reminder: School is CLOSED on Thursday, March 22, 2018 due to the Active Shooter Training for staff. This is the last week of school before easter break. We all know students tend to be a bit rowdy since the break is coming up, but please remember that class is still in session and we should all be doing our best to finish the winter session on a good note! Classes will remain the same this week except for thursday (No School) and friday. Friday we will be having our Passion Play in the church so schedules will be mixed around. Still, we should all be wearing our gym clothes on the day we have gym. As always if you have any questions on what we will be doing, please look at the plan book for more information. 5TH Grade Social Studies, Coding, & Physical Education Week of January 24, 2022

WEEKLY REMINDERS TUESDAY JANUARY 25 NWEA SCIENCE MAP TESTING FOR GRADES 3-5 , STUDENTS IN GRADES 6-8 WILL BE TAKING READING MAP TEST. THURSDAY JANUARY 27 STUDENTS WILL BE TAKING RELIGION MID-TERM TEST. 5TH Grade Social Studies Students will begin reading Unit 2 from our textbooks this week. The chapters refer to the different cultures that meet and build the first colonies of The United States. As a reminder, there will be Vocabulary quizzes given during each lesson review. We will continue to work on ways to organize our notebooks and information given during class to better prepare for the exams. US MAP PROJECT is 25% done so far. Students have now completed the coloring and labeling of the map. Students will continue to use the map and will be given an exam examining their knowledge of the 50 states.
