Weekly Reminders

SCHOOL CLOSED Wednesday, November 6

Gym classes shall be held as scheduled throughout the week. Please remember to wear gym uniform. Tuesday, November 5, we will be holding the last of the Hispanic Heritage Presentations.  It shall be held in the library at 9am. The 3 students that will be presenting shall be Victoria Cerda, Ceaser Lopez, Noris Espinoza. Please remember to practice your presentations!
Mondays' vocabulary quiz is moved to Tuesday, please remember to study all 34 words for the quiz. The quiz will consist of 16 mix and match statements in which students will choose a word from the word bank. As for the Chapter Test, please make sure to log on to Goggle Classroom to see the study guide. We shall review Chapter 2 topics all week, and test shall be given on Friday, November 8.

  WEEKLY REMINDERS START OF THE 4TH QUARTER. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP UP WITH ALL YOUR WORK AND FINISH THE YEAR STRONG! WEDNESDAY APRIL 26 is SECRETARY'S DAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO THANK OUR SECRETARY ALBA FOR ALL HER HARD WORK! ALL CLASSES ARE ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE THIS WEEK. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will begin wrapping up Unit 2 from our textbooks. We will review the idea of different cultures meeting and how cultural differences and competition for land led to conflicts among different groups of people in the Americas. Students will spend Monday and Tuesday reviewing the last two chapters, which will prepare us for the Unit 2 exam on Wednesday. We will then begin to examine Chapter 5: The 13 colonies. We have started to discuss how the first 13 colonies were made and who established these colonies. Two homework assignements will be given this week. Social Studies, Coding, Gym Week of October 11, 2021

WEEKLY REMINDERS October 11, School Closed, Columbus Day October 12, picture envelopes will given to students. Students must return envelopes to teacher for picture to be taken. October 13, National M&M's Day, students will receive M&M's from Mr. Woods. October 15, Early Dismissal for students K-8TH. PRE-K for All Program has regular dismissal. October 22, Progress Reports will be sent out to parents! 5th Grade Social Studies      Students will begin to work on their Hispanic Heritage Month Projects. Students will have to present slideshow about a person we celebrate during Hispanic heritage month.  We will spend three class periods discussing what information to include, how our slideshow should be presented, as well as how to outline information we find to include into our slides.
