Weekly Reminders

Early Dismissal for students in Pre-K - 8th Grade 12pm, FRIDAY FEBRUARY 7

Monday February 3 we will be having Mass at 9am. Gym Classes for the morning will be rescheduled. As we start a new quarter, we should all remember that certain aspects pertaining to our grades can affect students. Gym uniform is a MUST to participate in class. Gym uniform includes Blue shirt with school emblem, navy pants with school emblem, and sneakers. If you do not have full gym attire you will not be permitted to participate in gym classes.
On Wednesday, grades 3, 4, 5 will be going to the Museum of Natural History. If you have gym that day it will be canceled for the day. I will let students in other grades know by Tuesday if they will have an extra gym class on Wednesday. 
The rest of the week remains on schedule.

5th grade, Students should be reading and answering lesson review questions for Lessons 1-4. Students should already have answered and read lessons 1-2 by Monday. We will be finishing Chapter 5 by the end of the week.
We will also be having our Chapter 5 vocabulary test on Thursday.
As a reminder, I spoke to some students about what changes to expect in class for the start of the 3rd quarter. Chapter tests will begin to look different to students. We will be focusing on our Critical Thinking skills within the material. Tests will essentially be primarily Critical Thinking questions. I will be working with students this quarter to strengthen their skills, and to fully understand how to answer these kinds of questions.

WEEKLY REMINDERS CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK! 4TH & 5TH Grade Social Studies Week of April 19, 2021

WEEKLY REMINDERS New York State testing begins Thursday, April 22. Grades 3-8 Report Card Meetings are on Friday, April 23. Students will have EARLY DISMISSAL on Friday 12 PM. Students in both 4TH & 5TH grade have a very busy schedule this upcoming week. Students will be testing most of the week. Please be prepared to focus!  Parents are also reminded to please sign up for parent teacher conferences this upcoming Friday, so that we may speak about students work in class.
