4th & 5th Grade Social Studies Week of Sept 13, 2020

 Weekly Reminders

Zoom link for the class will be posted up on google classroom, as well as on my blog. If there are any issues please contact me through my email.

Students are reminded to fill out and sign forms sent home. All forms are to be returned to the school by September 16, 2020. Parents are reminded that if you do not fill out the daily screening form, you will not be allowed to enter the school building.

I will be posting up my schedule so that you may see what classes have me at the scheduled time.

4th grade students are reminded to look over the geographical terms from the textbook this weekend and familiarize themselves with the depictions of the vocabulary. I have the assignment posted on google classroom.

5th Grade

Starting Monday, we will be looking at different techniques on how to examine our textbooks and properly take down notes for the year. By the end of the week we should cover lessons 1 & 2 in Chapter 1.

3rd Grade Homeroom, 5th grade Social Studies, Coding & Physical Education Week of April 24, 2023

  WEEKLY REMINDERS START OF THE 4TH QUARTER. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP UP WITH ALL YOUR WORK AND FINISH THE YEAR STRONG! WEDNESDAY APRIL 26 is SECRETARY'S DAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO THANK OUR SECRETARY ALBA FOR ALL HER HARD WORK! ALL CLASSES ARE ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE THIS WEEK. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will begin wrapping up Unit 2 from our textbooks. We will review the idea of different cultures meeting and how cultural differences and competition for land led to conflicts among different groups of people in the Americas. Students will spend Monday and Tuesday reviewing the last two chapters, which will prepare us for the Unit 2 exam on Wednesday. We will then begin to examine Chapter 5: The 13 colonies. We have started to discuss how the first 13 colonies were made and who established these colonies. Two homework assignements will be given this week. Gym & 5th Grade Social Studies

Hello Everyone! I hope all is well while we continue to battle the Covid-19 pandemic. As we continue to live life, lots of changes we will have to work through. As you have heard from our principal, students will continue to have classes remotely on Google Classroom. We understand that there will have to be some adjustments made in order for students to receive their work as well as feedback from teachers. Please bare with us as we continue to provide an education for your child as best as we can. Blogs will be updated daily with materials, as well as homework for students to check on Google Classroom. For the time being, remote classes shall generally follow typical school schedules. 5th Grade Social Studies class will be held Monday-Friday at 11:15 am to 12:00pm. Students should log in to Google Classroom at the start of class everyday.
