Wednesday November 11, Veterans' Day SCHOOL CLOSED

Thursday November 12 Report Cards will be distributed to students. Remote students will have their report card mailed.

Friday November 13, Early Dismissal 12:00 Noon. Parent/Teacher conferences from  1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES

Students will continue to cover chapter 3 this week. Monday, we will review lesson review questions from lesson 2. Tuesday, we will continue to finish our Chapter Summaries on Power point. Friday, we will have our Chapter Vocabulary Test. Please make sure to study ALL words from the chapter. A reminder to those of us who decided to only give me definitions for one lesson, MAKE SURE YOU FINISH FINDING AND DEFINING ALL VOCABULARY WORDS FROM LESSONS 1-3. As always, homework is posted on google classroom under the "classwork" tab.

5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES

Monday, students will continue to review Chapter 3. We will review DBQ questions and continue reading lesson 3 and 4. Tuesday, students will have their Vocabulary quiz. Please make sure to study every word from lessons 1-4. Friday, we will begin to organize our information and review the chapter. Chapter Test will be given the following Tuesday. As always, homework is posted on google classroom under the "classwork" tab.

3rd Grade Homeroom, 5th grade Social Studies, Coding & Physical Education Week of April 24, 2023

  WEEKLY REMINDERS START OF THE 4TH QUARTER. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP UP WITH ALL YOUR WORK AND FINISH THE YEAR STRONG! WEDNESDAY APRIL 26 is SECRETARY'S DAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO THANK OUR SECRETARY ALBA FOR ALL HER HARD WORK! ALL CLASSES ARE ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE THIS WEEK. 5TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES Students will begin wrapping up Unit 2 from our textbooks. We will review the idea of different cultures meeting and how cultural differences and competition for land led to conflicts among different groups of people in the Americas. Students will spend Monday and Tuesday reviewing the last two chapters, which will prepare us for the Unit 2 exam on Wednesday. We will then begin to examine Chapter 5: The 13 colonies. We have started to discuss how the first 13 colonies were made and who established these colonies. Two homework assignements will be given this week. Social Studies, Coding, Gym Week of October 11, 2021

WEEKLY REMINDERS October 11, School Closed, Columbus Day October 12, picture envelopes will given to students. Students must return envelopes to teacher for picture to be taken. October 13, National M&M's Day, students will receive M&M's from Mr. Woods. October 15, Early Dismissal for students K-8TH. PRE-K for All Program has regular dismissal. October 22, Progress Reports will be sent out to parents! 5th Grade Social Studies      Students will begin to work on their Hispanic Heritage Month Projects. Students will have to present slideshow about a person we celebrate during Hispanic heritage month.  We will spend three class periods discussing what information to include, how our slideshow should be presented, as well as how to outline information we find to include into our slides.
