  • Students will be given an in-class vocabulary quiz on Wednesday, and will be given the Chapter test as a take home test on Monday.

COMPUTER SCIENCE (CODING & ROBOTICS)

  • from the past, present, and future.
  • 4th & 5th graders will  Animate a Scene: Students created their own story using sprites, say blocks (text bubbles), and animations.
  • 6th graders will continue to work on Starfish Disco/Mars Needs Milk: Students programmed an app where they spawn characters by tapping a virtual tablet screen, and change the character's size based on location to create an illusion of depth.
  • 7th & 8th graders will work on HTML Poster: Students will create a poster using margin and padding, which are used to make a website easy to read and visually appealing.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION (GYM)
  • Gym classes will be held on Tuesday November 8th. Classes are moved because of the short week. Students are reminded to come in Full GYM UNIFORM ON TUESDAY. 8th Graders should bring gym clothes in a bag as they will have graduation pictures taken on Tuesday as well.
  • As always, now that report cards are coming up, I remind students that participation is a huge part of your grade for gym class. There are many students that are not participating in class activities and believe they should pass. NO PARTICIPATION MEANS NO EFFORT, NO EFFORT MEANS BAD GRADE for the day.

As always, if there are any questions about what we will be doing during the week, please feel free to email me @MrBonilla@olqmnyc.org

THANK YOU & HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!
